Iran short film ‘Survival’ books 3 int’l fest spots

Internationally acclaimed Iran short film ‘Survival’ has been accepted as official section of three festivals in European countries.

The hosting events are Cluj film festival in Romania, Festival of Nations in Austria, Rural FilmFest in Spain.

This comes as the short, running just more than seven minutes, has most recently grabbed a special jury mention at 2017 edition of Madeira Fantastic FilmFest.

Also in 2016, the Iranian short film 'Survival', directed by Masoud Hatami, fared well at international cinematic events such as the Stockholm Experimental and Animation Film Festival which granted the film the Best Experimental Award.

The flick focuses on humanitarian aspects of people.
